Dr Warfield grew up in the Houston area. She went to The University of Texas at Austin before attending medical school at UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch) in Galveston. She was accepted as a charter resident into the first combined Internal Medicine / Family Practice residency program in the country at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk Virginia. She completed the double residency program in just four years graduating in 1999.
Dr. Warfield and her family decided to return “home” to Texas in the summer of 1999. She was in private practice in the DFW area before moving back to Austin in 2006.
Lauren Hodgkins, PA-C is a nationally certified physician assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Development andFamily Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. She furthered her medical education by obtaining her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Medical Branch at Galveston.
Prior to joining our practice she worked in obstetrics, gynecology, family and internal medicine.
She values her relationships with patients and prides herself in the high quality of care she provides to them. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and 3 rescue dogs. She is a native Texan and currently resides in Georgetown. She loves hiking, outdoor activities and concerts.
